Troy Richardson established Bangor Private Investigations, Inc. after many years in law enforcement and criminal justice. He went to college for both paralegal services and criminal justice. Troy worked primarily as a Corrections Officer at Hancock County Jail for nearly 18 years, with overlapping jobs as a Police Officer for Mount Desert Island Police and Department and Deputy Sheriff at Hancock County.
After 20 years in law enforcement, Troy used his own personal motivation and assets to open his own Investigation firm. Bangor PI, Inc. opened its doors in November of 2017 and has only continued to grow. With a wide variety of clients, Bangor PI, Inc. has taken over 200 cases in its short time of operation.
Troy holds himself to high ethical standards, honesty, and complete open communication with his clients throughout his investigations. As of January 2020, Troy is a member of the Maine Licensed Private Investigator’s Association.
